Samsung Galaxy S3 to launch in India in June, Priced at INR 38,000

Samsung mercilessly killed the hopes of those who were planning to buy the Galaxy Nexus device, but the good news is that Galaxy S3 will be launched in India in the first week of June. Samsung TouchWiz interface is in full swing with look and feel of nature- like physical looks. The Galaxy SIII runs on Ice Cream Sandwich aka Android 4.0, and boasts of a whooping 4.8-inch (12.19-cm) Super AMOLED HD display. In fact it resembles its counterpart Nexus in many ways including the home screen buttons. It is sardonic that Samsung is the foremost supplier of retina display to Apple because it hasn't used any of it in the SIII. It has the Samsung patented PenTile display thus despite 306ppi it's not as sharp as iPhone due to the pixel sharing capabilities of this technology. Galaxy Nexus has 316ppi whereas the iPhone has 326ppi. The Galaxy SIII has a swanky 8 megapixel back camera and a 1.9-megapixel front facing camera that allows users to click the best shots with zero lag time. And if company claims are considered ...
