The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay presents Eureka! 2012- an International Business Plan Competition. Recognized as Asia's Largest B-Plan Competition by Thomson Reuter's and CNN, Eureka! provides a platform for potential ideas and early stage start-ups to evaluate their idea in the risk-free environment of a competition and this year, the teams will be competing for prizes worth INR 4 million which also includes an all expense paid trip to the E-Bootcamp 2012, BASES, Stanford. Now in its 14th year, Eureka! has become a launch pad for startups in India and beyond where they learn how to formulate an appropriate b-plan and the do's and don'ts of making the right pitch from expert mentors, industry veterans and investors. Eureka! Social: Eureka! Social encourages ideas and B-Plans which cater to people at the bottom of the pyramid and/or for a greener tomorrow. Eureka! Social will run as a parallel track and all the entries will be judged, mentored and evaluated separately. The B-Plan should have a definite revenue model and should be self-sustainable in the long run. It should also be socially relevant and impact the poor.
